2 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (vision) has been scratched from Friday's starting lineup against the Milwaukee Brewers. The veteran backup was removed from the lineup due to vision related issues. Royals manager Matt Quatraro mentioned Perez underwent some treatment to help with his vision problem. It doesn't sound like a serious issue, so hopefully he'll be able to return within the next few days. In the meantime, Vinnie Pasquantino will bat second and serve as the designated hitter against right-hander Corbin Burnes on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
