Salvador Perez Launches His 33rd Home Run
3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 2-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run in the team's 7-1 victory over the Houston Astros on Monday. The home run was his 33rd of the year, which ranks fourth in the majors. Perez is slashing .275/.311/.524 over 123 games on the year. He ranks in the 97th percentile in hard-hit rate (55.2%) and in the 94th percentile in average exit velocity (92.7 mph). He's been the top catcher in all of fantasy up to this point and all indications suggest that he'll continue rolling throughout the final stretch of the season.
