Salvador Perez Hits Second Home Run On Wednesday
4 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez was one of the few offensive bright spots for the Royals on Wednesday as the team fell 4-2 to Shane Bieber and the Cleveland Indians. Perez went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in the game. It was his second home run of the year. Perez has started all five games for the Royals so far this year and is slashing .211/.348/.579 with three walks, four RBI and five runs. He has a double to go along with his two home runs. He's registered barrels on three of his 13 batted balls and has an impressive hard-hit rate of 69.2%. Perez is one of the top catchers in all of fantasy and should continue providing strong power numbers throughout the year.
