Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (head) exited Wednesday's game after he was hit on his catchers mask by a foul ball, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com. Manager Mike Matheny said after the game that the injury was a "non-concussive event," but Perez reported having a headache after being hit hard on the chin of his face mask. He will be evaluated tomorrow, but the team exercised caution in removing him early. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, but he will likely return to the lineup on Thursday or Friday.--Michael
