4 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (groin) was removed from Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox due to tightness in his groin. He's being considered day-to-day. According to Royals reporter Joel Goldberg, after Saturday's game, Perez was already trying to lobby his way into Sunday's lineup. The team will of course be cautious with their star catcher, who is slashing .279/.311/.513 with nine home runs and 26 RBI over 39 games on the year.
