Salvador Perez Blasts His 22nd Home Run On Saturday
3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs in Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers. The home run was his 22nd of the year and his first since the All-Star break. Over 96 games on the year, Perez is slashing .279/.310/.500 with 59 RBI and 44 runs to go along with his 22 homers. His 56% hard-hit rate is a career-best mark and ranks in the 98th percentile of the league. He's been the top catcher in all of fantasy so far and is showing no signs of slowing down.
