7 years agoThe Kansas City Royals activated both catcher Salvador Perez (knee) and outfielder Alex Gordon (hip) Tuesday. Paulo Orlando and Cam Gallagher have been optioned to Triple-A to make room. Perez will have the most fantasy value of the two, as he should hit in the middle of a Royals lineup that has shown some signs of life recently. Gordon will have limited fantasy value given that he hit just nine home runs and stole seven bases with a .208 batting average in 2017. Both Orlando and Gallagher are not worth stashing in single-season leagues. Perez should be owned in all leagues, with Gordon having value in just AL-only leagues.--Ben Rolfe
