Saints Release Kevin White
Kevin White, according to Katherine Terrell of The Athletic. The former first-round pick was just signed by the team on August 17th and now will be without a team once again. The Saints have depth issues when it comes to their receiving corps, but they seem content with the other WRs they have compared to White. The 28-year-old has struggled to make his mark in the NFL and last recorded a catch in the 2018 season with Chicago. Now, White will have to wait and see if there are any teams who need WR depth before he may get signed. The Saints will go forward with Tre'Quan Smith, Marquez Callaway, and Lil'Jordan Humphrey as their top three receivers to start the season.

Saints Waive Kevin White Tuesday
Kevin White on Tuesday. White was previously waived by the Saints on Nov. 20 but later re-signed. The 29-year-old former first-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2015 has played for four different teams in 2021, but he's only seen the field with the Saints in five games, catching only one of his five targets for 38 yards on 42 total offensive snaps. In five seasons in the NFL, White has only played in 22 total games and has recorded 26 catches on 53 targets for 323 yards with no touchdowns. He'll look to latch on with his fifth organization of the year to close out the 2021 campaign.
