2 mins agoThe New Orleans Saints have a shaky quarterback position after the report of Derek Carr's shoulder injury and have been rumored to be interested in Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders or Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, Dianna Russini reports that New Orleans is open to taking the best player available (likely on defense) and selecting a quarterback later in the draft. Potential candidates for that pick include one of the Georgia edge rushers, Jalon Walker or Mykel Williams. Many mock drafts around the industry have slotted a quarterback for the Saints with that selection, but it sounds like that is far from a certainty, and it might even be unlikely.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
