Saints Have High Expectations For Jared Cook
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook shined during the Saints three-day minicamp in June. It was reported that the veteran had a large amount of catches for explosive plays and routinely beat linebackers and safeties down the field. Cook showed that he had a reliable set of hands, something that the Saints have lacked at the position in recent years. Last year in Oakland, Cook finished the season with 68 receptions, 896 yards and six touchdowns. Cook is a solid upgrade from previous players at the position ( Benjamin Watson and Coby Fleener) and should be a good option for fantasy rosters this season for a position that was difficult to master in 2018. The Saints haven’t had a true weapon at tight end since Jimmy Graham.
