4 months agoThe Atlanta Braves traded third baseman Sabin Ceballos to the San Francisco Giants in a trade headlined by outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler returning to Atlanta. Ceballos, a third base prospect, had three homers and 30 RBI at High-A this season in the Braves system before the trade. He was the No. 17 prospect for the Braves, per MLB Pipeline. He hit .259 with nine stolen bases. The 21-year-old will provide some infield depth in the Giants' system but should be a ways away from making a major-league impact. The former third-round pick out of Oregon is a big-bodied third baseman with a big arm and some pop in his bat.--Brian Buckey - RotoBaller
