7 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is back at first and batting cleanup against Rockies starter Chad Bettis on Thursday. Backup first baseman and outfielder Matt Adams will start in left field and bat fifth. And Matt Wieters will make his first start since returning from an oblique injury behind the plate and bat seventh. Dave Martinez has Michael Taylor once again hitting in the nine-hole. Adams is the real steal here. He's been mashing right-handed pitching, posting a 1.083 OPS in just 18 at-bats. He'll likely knock in some runs, too.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
