Ryan Yarbrough Shelled In Monday’s Loss
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough (8-5) allowed seven earned runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out one across 2 1/3 innings during Monday's 8-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He was tagged with the loss. Yarbrough followed opener Colin McHugh and was lit up for seven earned runs over 2 1/3 innings. The southpaw yielded 10 hits, including a solo shot to Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette. Yarbrough has now allowed seven earned runs in back-to-back appearances. The 29-year-old owns a 5.27 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 106 strikeouts over 138 1/3 innings in 2021. Fantasy managers can leave Yarbrough on the waiver until he turns things around.
