Ryan Yarbrough Lasts Four Innings In No-Decision
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out none across four innings during Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. He did not factor into the decision. The southpaw didn't strike anyone out, but he didn't allow an extra-base hit on Wednesday. Yarbrough was removed from the game after 55 pitches, and it was the first time since June 22 the 29-year-old failed to make it past the fifth frame. He owns a (7-4) record along with a 4.57 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 101 strikeouts over 128 innings in 2021. Yarbrough can be used as a streamer in deep-league formats in his next start at home Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox.
