3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Ryan Yarbrough (groin) will be placed on the 10-day injured list, according to John Romano of the Tampa Bay Times. The 30-year-old has a minor groin injury and Romano reports that the move to the injured list is precautionary. Fellow pitcher Tommy Romero is being called up from Triple-A to take Yarbrough's roster spot. Yarbrough had a strong year with the team in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, pitching to a 3.56 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 55.2 innings.
