Ryan Weber May Need Tommy John Surgery
1 year agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Ryan Weber (elbow) may need Tommy John surgery. The 32-year-old has appeared in 14 1/3 innings in eight games this season, amassing a 3.14 ERA with seven strikeouts. Unfortunately, he landed on the 15-day injured list on June 3 because of right forearm and elbow discomfort, which resulted in a visit to a specialist. Weber is still trying to avoid going under the knife by undergoing treatment, including a platelet-rich plasma injection and rehab. But whatever happens regarding the injury, not many fantasy managers will be negatively impacted.
