Ryan Tannehill Will Be Ready For OTAs
7 years agoMiami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) will be ready for organized team activities. This was expected, but it's nice to get confirmation. The 29-year-old signal caller missed all of the 2017 season with a knee injury, and although he has already been named the starter, the Dolphins are seriously considering drafting Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield early in the first round, putting Tannehill's long-term outlook in question. Tannehill was more efficient in 2016 (67.1 completion percentage), but his yardage and touchdown totals were lacking. After losing the NFL's leading receiver (Jarvis Landry), Tannehill might once again struggle to put up numbers for fantasy owners as he makes his way back to the field. Consider him more of a QB2 option.
