Ryan Switzer Impresses Jon Gruden
6 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver and return man Ryan Switzer really impressed head coach Jon Gruden during offseason workouts, and he has a real chance to make an impact on offense in his second season in the NFL. “Ryan Switzer has really caught my eye,” Gruden said, unprompted. “Switzer has come in here and not only been a punt returner, kick returner, he’s come in and been a force as a slot receiver. He’s really done well.” Switzer will likely make his mark on special teams first, but he could be a fantasy sleeper if Martavis Bryant is suspended or Jordy Nelson is injured. Switzer had just six catches for 41 yards in his rookie season in Dallas.
