Ryan Spann Showcases In Saturday Night's Co-Main Event
4 years agoTypically in a contest pitting heavier weight-class fighters who are both strong on the ground, we'd see more of a standup battle. That was the case in Saturday night's co-main event, when we witnessed Ryan Spann (19-6) decimate Misha Cirkunov in the first round. In only 1:11 of action, Spann dropped Cirkunov twice, with the second instance leading to a TKO stoppage. Spann has tremendous knockout power as well as a solid ground game with 11 submission victories. Spann is always a fighter to keep your eye on for fantasy rosters, as there are many ways he can finish the fight with an exclamation point.
