Ryan Pulock Suffers Upper-Body Injury On Saturday
3 mins agoAccording to Andrew Gross of Newsday, New York Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock (upper body) suffered an injury during Saturday's overtime victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Pulock sustained this injury during the first period. Before exiting, Pulock logged just one shift and did not get on the scoresheet. If the 30-year-old were to miss time, fantasy managers should expect Dennis Cholowski to enter the starting lineup. Entering Sunday, Pulock tallied four points over his previous eight contests. During this stretch, he logged over two blocked shots per game and two shots on goal per game. Tony DeAngelo will likely take Pulock's spot on the power-play.
