4 years agoHouston Astros reliever Ryan Pressly will serve as the closer when the Astros open their 60-game season on Friday. Manager Dusty Baker insists that incumbent closer Roberto Osuna is heathy but just isn't ramped up and ready for game action. Enter Pressly, who has been dealing with a blister on his pitching hand but will get the first crack at closing games. The 31-year-old posted a 2.32 ERA in 54 1/3 innings pitched last season with 72 strikeouts and a 0.90 WHIP. Pressly is a perfect late-round add in fantasy drafts for the first few weeks of the season as Osuna works his way into game shape.--Joey C - RotoBaller
