Ryan Preece Could Be A Dark Horse At Phoenix
55 seconds agoDon't sleep on Ryan Preece in this weekend's Shriners Children's 500 at Phoenix Raceway. The short, flat tracks are where Preece excels at the most, and Roush-Fenway Keselowski Racing has found some speed here at Phoenix over the last couple of races. In the spring race last year, both RFK cars finished inside the top five, and both Buescher and Keselowski followed that up with top-15 finishes in the fall race as well. This weekend, Preece has been down a bit on the speed chart, but that's not too concerning considering Keselowski noted that the organization was testing a few things this weekend. Looking at track history, Preece struggled at Phoenix in 2024 but he walked away with 12th- and 14th-place finishes in the two races here in 2023. Preece qualified 28th this weekend so he has Place Differential upside in DFS tournaments, but his $6,700 price tag on DraftKings is a bit high for someone who is hit or miss. You can use Preece this weekend with your lineups, but don't go too crazy.
