Ryan Pepiot Confirmed As Wednesday's Starter
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Ryan Pepiot will get the start for Wednesday's matchup with Brandon Pfaadt and the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. The 26-year-old has yet to start a game in the Majors, but over nine innings of work this year, he owns a 2.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, and 32.4% strikeout rate. Pepiot is the Dodgers top-ten prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, and has an impressive minor league career, in which he's posted a 3.51 ERA with 298 strikeouts across 238 2/3 innings. It's unclear how long the club plans to keep him in the rotation, but he's a good streaming option for fantasy managers looking for starting pitching.
