Ryan O'Hearn Knocks In Two
Ryan O'Hearn was recalled from Triple-A Omaha this weekend, and he helped propel the big league club to the win on Sunday. O'Hearn practiced the mantra that if you put the ball in play, good things will sometimes happen. He hit an easy bouncer to first base in the third inning that resulted in him being out but the first baseman throwing it away when a runner scored, allowing a second run to score. Then, with the bases loaded in the fifth, he clipped a swinging bunt back to pitcher Trevor Bauer that Bauer misplayed, allowing another run to score. The two RBI aren't a sign that O'Hearn is ready to slug at the major league level, but anything is progress over his terrible sub-.200 start.

Ryan O'Hearn Hits Three-Run Homer In Thursday's Win
Ryan O'Hearn had a big night in a 6-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday. O'Hearn went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer to help propel Baltimore to the win in the series finale. His homer came in the third inning and gave the Orioles a 4-2 lead, which was all they would need to down Cleveland. O'Hearn is hitting .326 with three homers, eight runs, five RBI, and one steal across 46 at-bats. He is worth a starting spot in deeper fantasy leagues while he's going well at the plate.

Ryan O'Hearn Doubles, Homers On Monday
Ryan O'Hearn went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo homer in a 5-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. O'Hearn took Arizona starter Zac Gallen deep in the first inning to kick off the scoring in the game, giving him his first home run of the season. The veteran is off to a solid start at the plate this season, hitting .308 with four runs and one RBI through 26 at-bats. That being said, O'Hearn is going to need to produce more power to be considered as a regular fixture in fantasy lineups moving forward.

Adley Rutschman, Ryan O'Hearn Sitting On Saturday
Adley Rutschman and first baseman Ryan O'Hearn are not in the starting lineup on Saturday afternoon when they face the Kansas City Royals. Rutschman will receive a maintenance day as he has started in each of the first eight games of the regular season. During the start of the campaign, Rutschman has held a .258/.343/.484 line with one double and two round trippers. He will cede catching duties to Gary Sanchez this afternoon. O'Hearn has not tallied a hit in each of his past two contests and will leave the designated hitter spot open for Gunnar Henderson. Ramon Urias will enter the lineup and cover the hot corner as well. Fantasy managers should expect Rutschman to return to the lineup on Sunday, facing southpaw Kris Bubic. However, O'Hearn will likely continue to ride pine as he typically sits against left-handed pitching.

Ryan O'Hearn Out Of The Lineup Against Lefty
Ryan O'Hearn is taking a seat on Monday as the team lines up against the Boston Red Sox and left-handed pitcher Sean Newcomb. The 31-year-old went 6-for-14 over the team's opening series against the Toronto Blue Jays, but he'll ride the pine as they square off against their first lefty in 2025. Ryan Mountcastle will take over at first base and bat fourth, while Heston Kjerstad will bat fifth at DH. O'Hearn has historically been worse against lefties, though it's worth noting that he hit .262 against southpaws in 2024 (42 at-bats), nearly matching the .264 he batted against right-handers.
