Ryan O'Hearn Hits His First Home Run
4 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Ryan O'Hearn helped lead the team to a 5-4 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. O'Hearn went 3-for-4 in the game, hitting his first home run of the year while tallying two RBI and two runs. O'Hearn began the year on the Injured List after testing positive for COVID-19 prior to the season. He's appeared in 22 games for the Royals this year and is slashing .246/.306/.369 with five doubles and 14 RBI. He's had some solid power production in the majors before, so it's surprising it took him 22 games to hit his first home run of the year, but his performance on Tuesday could be a sign of things to come. Keep an eye on him in deep leagues and AL-only leagues.
