Ryan Noda Optioned To Triple-A
2 days agoThe Los Angeles Angels have optioned first baseman Ryan Noda to Triple-A Salt Lake. Noda was claimed by the Angels earlier in the offseason but was unable to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster. During spring training, Noda hit just one long ball and posted a .182/.449/.364 slash line with a 15:18 BB:K. Noda has spent his entire MLB career with the Athletics. He made his MLB debut during the 2023 season and posted a .229/.364/.406 line across 128 contests. However, in 2024, Noda took a step back as he posted a .137/.255/.211 slash line with just one long ball across 36 contests. In 240 career games at Triple-A, Noda has posted a .246/.398/.488 slash line. Fantasy managers should monitor his status at Triple-A, as he should be in contention to return to the majors later in the summer.
