4 years agoRyan Newman was 34th in practice at Austin on Saturday and lately has just been racing in poor form. The No. 6 Ford just appeared sluggish and slow. Maybe, Newman was just waiting to make adjustments but he has only finished on the lead lap in two of his last six races. Newman did get a 20th place result on the road at Daytona but that was helped by the rain after starting 33rd. He may move up a few positions and place differential may be the only hope. It is just too much of a risk to expect that kind of luck err gift on Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
