8 months agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle tallied three hits in the team's 3-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Mountcastle is off to a great start in 2024, which continued in Sunday's contest. The first baseman started off his day with a double to right field in the first inning and then doubled home Adley Rutschman in the fourth inning to get the O's on the board. He also singled in the ninth inning to cap off his first three-hit day of the 2024 campaign. The 27-year-old is now hitting .294 at the plate with one home run and eight RBI in the first nine games of the season. He should be rostered in every format in fantasy going forward, given his upside in a top offense in baseball.--Joey Pollizze - RotoBaller
