7 years agoCleveland Indians left-handed pitcher Ryan Merritt is dealing with several injuries, including issues with his knee and his shoulder. Merritt started the season on the disabled list due to his surgically-repaired knee, but recently added shoulder inflammation to his injury list. He'll be totally shut down from throwing for three-to-five days, then will be re-evaluated. He'll be an option in the rotation once he's healthy, but that might take a bit longer than originally expected.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
