Ryan McMahon Drives In A Run On Wednesday
Ryan McMahon went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and two walks in a 9-5 win over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. McMahon added on to the Rockies' run total in the fourth inning when he scored Charlie Blackmon with an RBI single. He would reach base two more times in the contest as well. The 26-year-old has been scuffling at the plate over his last 15 games, slashing .200/.241/.327 with a pair of home runs over that span but has still put together a solid season for the most part. He's batting .256 with a .778 OPS, 20 home runs, 68 RBI, and four stolen bases over 437 at-bats.

Ryan McMahon Hits A Home Run On Thursday
Ryan McMahon swatted his third home run of the season in the seventh inning against future Hall-of-Famer Justin Verlander. The home run was a solo shot, bringing the Rockies within one run of the San Francisco Giants. The Rockies then scored two more runs in the eighth inning off of Tyler Rogers to walk away with the 4-3 victory. It's been a struggle for McMahon in 2025, as he's slashing an ugly .152/.280/.267 with three home runs, nine runs scored, and five RBI to go with one stolen base. McMahon is a career .240 hitter, so fantasy managers who have held on this long should see some progression as we get closer to summer in Coors Field. Thursday's game against the Giants was the first of a four-game series, so they have three games left on the road before they start a six-game homestand on Tuesday.

Ryan McMahon Hits Home Run No. 1 On Saturday
Ryan McMahon went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Athletics. It was the first home run of the season for the former All-Star and first multi-hit effort since Opening Day. The left-handed hitter has a .267/.303/.400 slash line with a .304 wOBA and 83 wRC+ through eight games. It's still early, so hopefully he can improve upon the 2:12 BB:K he's currently registering. The 30-year-old has been very durable, playing in at least 141 games every season since 2019 (excluding 2020), and has produced at least 20 home runs in each of those seasons, but always seems to leave fantasy managers feeling a little empty with not one of those seasons coming in any higher than a 97 wRC+. Nevertheless, he is probably worthy of at least a bench spot in most 12-team leagues, and fantasy managers will hope he can contribute on the days he is needed in the lineup.

Ryan McMahon, Charlie Blackmon, Nolan Jones Out On Wednesday
Ryan McMahon and outfielders Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Jones are all out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale at Coors Field against the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks with left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez on the bump. Aaron Schunk will start at third and hit out of the nine-hole, Sam Hilliard will start in left and bat seventh, and catcher Jacob Stallings will be the designated hitter and bat fifth. Hunter Goodman is catching and hitting sixth. Hilliard has hit .250 (27-for-108) in his return to the Rockies this year with eight homers and 23 RBI in 49 games played. Stallings has hit .260 (59-for-227) with a career-high nine homers in 76 games, and Schunk has hit just .194 (14-for-72) with one homer and three RBI in his first 32 big-league games. None of Colorado's replacements are particularly attractive DFS sleepers, even at Coors Field.

Ryan McMahon Sitting Out In Series Finale
Ryan McMahon is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the hosting Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. Aaron Schunk will make the start at the hot corner and will bat ninth against Diamondbacks left-hander Jordan Montgomery. McMahon will get a day of rest with Arizona throwing a southpaw after going hitless in eight at-bats with four strikeouts in the first two games of the series in the desert. The 29-year-old left-handed slugger was named to his first All-Star squad this year, but he's struggled since the Midsummer Classic and has gone 4-for-38 (.105) with two doubles, three RBI, a stolen base and 18 strikeouts in 11 games. The rookie Schunk has gone 7-for-41 (.171) in his first 20 big-league games and is still searching for his first home run.
