Ryan Madson Still Dealing With Pectoral Injury
7 years agoWashington Nationals reliever Ryan Madson is still dealing with pectoral soreness and doesn't look to be immediately ready to return to the active roster. Madson made 25 throws at 50 percent effort on Tuesday. According to Madson, he hurt his pectoral muscle throwing harder than average last week against Arizona, and the pectoral muscle cramped up on the flight home. If you have a disabled list spot available, you should stash Madson in NL-only and holds leagues. He should hopefully be back to throwing in games soon. Don't be concerned about his elevated ERA (4.19), as his peripheral stats are excellent (2.13 FIP) and his performance thus far can be chalked up to bad luck.
