1 week agoThe Athletics have placed outfield prospect Ryan Lasko (undisclosed) on the 7-day injured list at High-A. The Athletics did not specify when Lasko sustained this injury. The Athletics drafted the 22-year-old in the second round of the 2023 MLB Draft. Last summer, Lasko spent most of his time at Low-A before moving up to High-A. With Low-A Stockton, the Rutgers product posted a .225/.359/.322 slash line with 19 doubles and four home runs. He did most of his damage on the basepaths, swiping 20 bags. Then at High-A, Lasko held a .245/.341/.342 line with seven doubles and 13 stolen bases across 41 contests. When he returns to action, fantasy managers should expect Lasko to open the 2025 campaign with High-A Lunsing. He could push for a mid-season Double-A debut.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
