1 year agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers (back) has been scratched from Friday's starting lineup versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. It sounds like Jeffers is dealing with back soreness, so fantasy managers should consider him as day-to-day. In his absence, Christian Vazquez will cover behind the plate and bat eighth versus right-hander Andre Jackson. Jeffers has been on fire at the plate since the All-Star break.
