Ryan Jeffers Goes Yard In Return To Majors
3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run, and two RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Jeffers' homer was absolutely crushed, as it traveled 441 feet at an exit velocity of 107.8 MPH. He also ripped a 105.3 MPH triple. Jeffers struggled mightily at the dish earlier this season, though he should have more steady playing time with Mitch Garver (groin) expected to be out for the next couple of weeks. Jeffers, who posted a .829 OPS in 191 minor league games, is worth a look in deeper formats.
