Ryan Helsley Records Save No. 5 On Wednesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals right-hander Ryan Helsley picked up his fifth save of the season on Wednesday when his club defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0. The 28-year-old went 1.1 innings while striking out and walking one batter and allowing one hit. Even though the saves haven't been there yet, Helsley's been dominant once again, posting a 2.55 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with a 31.4% strikeout rate and 8.6% walk rate. Fantasy managers need to keep rolling with the former fifth-round pick and assume more save opportunities are coming as the Cardinals try to improve on their 18-26 record.
