Ryan Helsley Moved To 60-Day IL
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals reliever Ryan Helsley (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Monday, according to MLB.com. He now won't be eligible to return until August 11. Helsley has been on the shelf since injuring his forearm at the beginning of June. He's been throwing bullpen sessions and is building up for a rehab assignment before he makes a comeback. Over 25 innings prior to the injury, Helsley pitched to a 3.24 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 32.0% strikeout rate with seven saves. Fantasy managers should stash the 29-year-old in most formats, as he should take back the closer role when he finally does return.
