Ryan Cordell Hits Home Run in First Game Since Call-Up
6 years agoChicago White Sox right fielder Ryan Cordell, who was promoted earlier Thursday, went 3-for-4 with his second home run of the season as the White Sox fell to the Tigers by a score of 7-9. His home run came in the seventh inning against Detroit starter Tyson Ross and provided his only run and RBI of the day. While the 27-year-old looks to remain a staple in the rebuilding White Sox lineup for the time being, he has never hit more than 19 home runs in a minor league season and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.
