Ryan Castellani Issues Six Walks In Sunday's No-Decision
4 years agoColorado Rockies starter Ryan Castellani surrendered a single unearned run on one hit across 5 2/3 innings during Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He struck out four batters while giving up a season-high six walks. Castellani has now walked 10 batters over his past 10 innings. The 24-year-old was in line for the win when he left the game, but the bullpen could not hold on. Castellani now owns a 4.46 ERA on the season to go along with a 1.34 WHIP and 23/18 K/BB rate. He is a definite fade in his next projected start against the daunting Los Angeles Dodgers' offense.
