Ryan Blaney Starting On The Front Row
2 years agoIf Ryan Blaney is looking to go back-to-back in the win column, he certainly is off to a great start. He qualified second for the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. Starting on the front row, he has a good shot at winning consecutive races for the first time in his career. He dominated the Coca-Cola 600 last weekend, en route to his first victory in 59 races. At a track where passing could be at a premium, being upfront is the best spot for him to be to start the race. Just like at Charlotte, he was able to find speed over the longer runs here at practice. If he can find that speed again, he could dominate for the second weekend in a row. He makes for a good play to anchor your tournament lineups this weekend.
