Ryan Blaney Holds On For Second-Place Finish At 4EVER 400
1 year agoRyan Blaney was getting chased down by Tyler Reddick while trying to catch Christopher Bell. In the end, the Team Penske driver settled for second. However, that result boosted Blaney up into fourth in the playoff race. Blaney now enjoys a ten point cushion over Tyler Reddick and 17 over Martin Truex Jr. The No. 12 Ford driver has some excellent results at Martinsville. Nine straight top-11 results with some caution help but an average finish of 5.7 might be enough to get into the Championship Four. Again, if one of the drivers below him win, then Blaney would likely be out.
