Penske Racing's Ryan Blaney finished in the 25th position in Sunday's YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Blaney started from the 14th position and led 10 laps in the opening stage. Unfortunately, he was involved in the accident at the end of the first stage, when the leader, Aric Almirola, got turned around on the backstretch. Blaney's No. 12 crew did a great job to fix the damage and keep him in contention, but then Blaney would go on to blow a tire and smack the wall. Despite that, Blaney continued and was even able to run towards the front. Blaney's bid for a third straight win at Talladega came to an end after his third incident, the big accident with a handful of laps to go.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
