Ryan Blaney Hard To Count Out At Daytona
1 year agoRyan Blaney starts eighth for Saturday night's race from Daytona. The Team Penske car was fairly quick during qualifying and got into the final round. He lost a little speed in the turns and was 0.21 seconds behind pole-sitter Chase Briscoe. Funny enough, overall times were almost similar to February at Daytona. Back then, Alex Bowman was right around 49.53 seconds. The pole came in at 49.499, with Blaney at 49.709. It was a good result for the No. 12 Ford, which won the race in 2021 and has an average finish of 9.4 at Daytona.
