Ryan Armour Logs Surprising Second-Place Finish
6 years agoRyan Armour shot a final-round 68 to lock up a second-place finish at the Quicken Loans National. The two-under par round was Armour's fourth sub-70 round of the week. The veteran pro was solid all week from tee-to-green, hitting over 70% of greens in regulation and ranking 16th in strokes gained: putting. The second-place finish is Armour's best result since a surprise win at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October. The little-known Armour proved to be a DFS bargain with a DraftKings price tag of only $7,500 for the Quicken Loans National. He will be back in action this week at The Greenbrier, where he missed the cut in 2017.
