2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook (hamstring) is doubtful to play Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets. Westbrook suffered a hamstring injury during their preseason games, but has not missed any time with the injury up until this point. Coming into Wednesday, the Lakers will have three days of rest which does not bode well for Westbrook's status. If Westbrook is ultimately ruled out, Patrick Beverley, Austin Reaves and Kendrick Nunn should handle the extra minutes while LeBron James and Anthony Davis should see an increase in usage. Hamstrings are a tricky injury so consider Westbrook at least questionable to play in Friday's contest.--Dale Johnson
