5 months agoThe $8,000 salary range on DraftKings is loaded with high-upside options for the Travelers Championship, but Russell Henley appears to stand out as the giraffe in a herd of zebras this week. The 33-year-old OWGR No. 16 is coming off of an impressive T7 performance at the challenging US Open last week, marking his fifth top-10 finish in the 2024 calendar year. He's also gained strokes ball-striking and with the flat stick in four consecutive starts which should bode well for his changes at TPC River Highlands. Aside from having the ninth-best adjusted course fit, over the last 24 rounds Henley ranks second in driving accuracy, eighth on approach from 100-175 yards, 13th in strokes gained on easy courses, and sixth in strokes gained on short courses. And while he's not known as a prolific birdie-maker, he is coming off the second best putting performance of his career, and he has posted back-to-back T19 finishes in his last two Travelers Championship appearances. Fantasy managers can count on Henley as a safe top-20 option this week, and with a decent putting week he could very well be in line to notch his fifth career PGA Tour victory.--Ryan Hickey
