Russell Gage Is Quiet In Falcons Win
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Russell Gage was held to just two receptions for 17 yards in Week 14 against the Panthers. The Falcons had all of their primary pass-catchers active in the game for the first time since Week 10. Austin Hooper (knee) and Julio Jones (shoulder) saw a combined 14 targets in the game. Hooper had missed the past three games while Jones had missed Week 13. Gage's upside is significantly limited while the team has all its primary pass-catchers healthy. He's basically the new Mohamed Sanu in the offense now, so he could be a low-end WR3 or flex in deep PPR leagues, but in most formats, he can be left on benches or on waivers.
