8 months agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Chicago Bulls. The multi-time Defensive Player of the Year continues to be bothered by a rib injury. But he looked just fine in Friday's much-needed win over the Denver Nuggets and finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks in 35 minutes of work. The Timberwolves have won seven of their previous eight contests and currently sit among the top teams in the Western Conference. Yet, for Minnesota to claim the No. 1 spot heading toward the postseason, Gobert will need to be out there, especially with Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) sidelined.
