6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay (heel) is out on Friday and could miss the season opener. Gay is dealing with an inflamed bursa in his heel and is uncertain to be ready by the regular season. Davis Bertans and Marco Belinelli are going to likely see increased playing time with the loss of Gay. It's unclear how much time Gay is going to miss, but the Spurs aren't going to take any chances.
