Royce Lewis To Sit Out On Wednesday
1 year agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Royce Lewis is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Houston Astros. The 23-year-old will get a rest day after going 3-for-9 with a home run and 4 RBI in his first two MLB games. It appears the Twins still plan to manage his workload considering he's coming off an ACL injury. The expectation is that he's going to begin playing full-time at some point this season. In the meantime, Willi Castro will bat eighth and play third base versus right-hander Hunter Brown on Wednesday.
