Royce Lewis Hits Grand Slam For First Career Homer
3 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and an additional run scored in Friday's 12-8 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Lewis took Bryan Shaw deep in the fifth inning with the bases loaded for the first long ball of his career. The 22-year is off to a hot start since being called up on May 5th, slashing .320/.320/.520 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs across seven games. The 22-year-old will continue to see every day at-bats while Carlos Correa (finger) is on the 10-day injured list. Lewis has a ton of upside, and fantasy managers should look to add the 2017 first-round pick in all league formats.
